The REALTORS® Association of Central Indiana (RACI) received their charter on January 20, 1920 from the National Association of REALTORS®
. In 1991, the name was changed to RACI from the KOKOMO AREA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® to better reflect the Association’s jurisdiction of Howard and Tipton County. In 2008, four other Associations merged with RACI to become a larger Association. Today, the Association includes Cass, Grant, Howard, Miami, Tipton and Wabash counties.
In 2013, RACI was one of 13 associations that joined forces to form the Indiana Regional MLS. This effort serves both REALTORS®
and consumers as a more efficient tool for locating and valuing property across the state.
